Art Now

Monday Fun Day!

Today the students had their usual class at Christie’s in which they learned about the price of art and how important the value is. That was followed by an activity known as fantasy collection game which the students loved! After class we went for lunch around the Central Park area because we were visiting the Guggenheim Museum afterwards. At the Guggenheim Museum the students were in awe of the rare shape of the museum. We received a wonderful guided tour and also got some free time to move around. We then proceeded to the Cooper Hewitt where we got to explore but also use interactive pens. The pens allowed for us to save pieces we enjoyed seeing. Lastly, there is nothing better than ending off the day at a New York Yankees game. The game began at 7pm and the students were so excited and ready to cheer and participate in baseball chants. Today was a wonderful adventure and we are ready to continue our last week tomorrow!
