Getting to know the Gothic Quarter

Happy Friday, everyone! Today our International Business students started the day off with a visit to Coca Cola Spain while Spanish students did a scavenger hunt activity in the neighborhood of Sarria. Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking students had their normally scheduled class at ESADE.

After lunch in Plaza Cataluña, we took a guided walking tour through the Gothic Quarter. Along the way, we saw parts of the Roman aqueduct, the Gothic Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter (called El Call), and so much more, stopping in narrow streets and charming plazas to learn about the history of the old part of the city. At the end of the tour, students got free time to return to stores they had passed along the tour, find an afternoon snack, etc.

We are now back at the residence preparing for Karaoke Night! The group also has the option to go out to dinner in our neighborhood if they choose. Tomorrow we are looking forward to another busy day, which will end with a visit to La Sagrada Familia. ¡Bona nit, buenas noches!
